What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you don't have to re-enter it on every page.
1.1 How We Use Cookies
ProdUp uses cookies exclusively for security and session management. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking, or personalisation. The two cookies we set are both strictly necessary — without them the platform cannot function.

Cookies are typically categorised as strictly necessary (required for basic operation), functional (remember your preferences), or analytics/advertising (track behaviour across sites). ProdUp currently only uses strictly necessary cookies.

The complete inventory of cookies set by ProdUp is listed below. Both are set by the Django web framework and are required for the platform to function. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are present.

Strictly necessary cookies are always active — they cannot be disabled because the platform depends on them for security and authentication. The optional categories below are not currently active; they are shown here transparently so you know what may be introduced in the future.
Session authentication and CSRF security — required for the platform to operate. Includes sessionid and csrftoken.
Future: aggregate platform usage statistics (non-identifying). No analytics cookies are currently set on this platform.
Future: display preferences such as currency format. No functional cookies are currently set on this platform.

Third-Party Services
TL;DR
BTCPay Server processes payments; check their policy for their own cookie usage.
ProdUp does not embed third-party advertising networks, social media widgets, or tracking pixels. The only external service integrated into the platform is BTCPay Server, used exclusively for processing Bitcoin subscription payments.
4.1 BTCPay Server
When you initiate a subscription payment, you are redirected to a BTCPay Server payment page. BTCPay Server may set its own cookies on that domain to manage the payment session. These cookies are governed by BTCPay Server's own privacy policy and are not controlled by ProdUp.
4.2 Google Fonts
ProdUp loads fonts via Google Fonts CDN. Google may log the font request; however, no cookies are set by Google Fonts by default. For full details, refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

This Cookie Policy may be updated as the platform evolves — for example, if we introduce analytics tools or additional functionality that requires new cookies. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

When material changes are made to this policy — particularly when new cookies are introduced — we will display a notice banner on the platform and reset the cookie consent state so you can review and re-confirm your preferences.
